Games Around The World Training            Press Release 12 October 2004

In Mathematics for example, many students may find it difficult to grasp even basic mathematical principles. But by playing games such as Maths Warrior and X Challenge, they actually go through the process of applying these same principles that they were taught.

Noble Education's puzzles and games master Henry Ong wowed the young audience with an interesting array of games. There was no lack of audience participation. No doubt the games are fun and interesting, but more importantly, they set the players thinking objectively, and deciding on the best course of action to take to counter problems along the way. In other words, the games enable the players to apply their strategic approach to a crisis and resolving it the fun way.

Yu Jing, going on 12, tackling the Snake Cube, said: I love games like these because they teach me how to solve problems the fun way.

The two good classmates and friends who played 3D Tic Tac Toe, Chiu Chu Rong and Milton Tan, discovered that this game is tougher than the conventional Tic Tac Toe. We just have to be careful with our moves, but are not afraid to face the challenge,  they said. Yes, both of you are right. Remember that you need not be afraid to make mistakes, because we learn from them, just as we know we are able to pick ourselves up after a fall.
